Hi, I’m Michelle, Health Coach for fellow mums

I’m a wife and mum of 5 living in Sydney, Australia.

My Story

I began my own personal health journey 9 years ago when I was pregnant with baby number 3. From the time I had my first son, I was exhausted, frazzled, constantly emotional, and felt as though I couldn't keep my head above water. It got progressively worse as the years went on until I hit rock bottom just before giving birth to my daughter. I knew that something just wasn't right. Luckily I listened to my gut and after reading several articles on the internet, I realised I had ADHD,  6 months later I was professionally diagnosed.

It explained the (misdiagnosed) anxiety and depression I suffered from as a teenager and why I just couldn't ‘get it together’ as the other mums around me did. After using the pharmaceutical treatment for a year, I fell pregnant with baby number 4 and decided to go down the natural route of treating my ADHD. With the research I had done during that year, I had come to realise I also had food intolerances, gut health issues, post-natal anxiety, and depletion. Looking back it also explained eczema, reflux, and anxiety I suffered from as a young child.

With help from some amazing practitioners, I can now say that I feel like I am in control of my life, not feeling as though my life is controlling me. To be able to look after my family, I have learned that I must look after my body and brain by eating a nourishing whole food diet, healing my gut, moving my body, prioritising sleep, and making time for doing the things that I enjoy and will ‘fill my cup’ so to speak. But I wanted to know more to help me, my husband and my 5 kids so I enrolled in the International Institute of Integrative Nutrition to be a health coach. I have an incredible wealth of knowledge from studying with IIN and want to help mums just like me.

I want to help other mums out there who are struggling with the day to day of life who haven’t quite figured it out yet. I want to help those mums who’s anxiety is taking over and just need someone who understands them. I want to hold your hand and teach you what I know without taking 10 years to do so.

So if you would like me to help you, book in a free 15 minute discovery call to find out if we are the right fit to work together. And while you are here - read through my blog, download my free pantry checklist and connect with me on Instagram as I would love to connect with you

My Approach

Small changes in the short term equals big results in the long term.

In many cases, poor health is not created overnight so we cannot expect optimal health overnight. Change takes time, and this is where I can help.

My role is to help you identify what areas of Primary and Secondary foods you need help with, then supporting you to achieve your goals through guiding, motivating and accountability.

Primary food

Apart from the food we eat, we also need to focus on our “primary foods’ these are not the foods we put on our plate, but the foods needed to nourish the body and soul such as our relationships with others, our career, how we move our body through physical activity and our spirituality.

Secondary food

We have been led to believe that the foods we find in the supermarket are what we need to eat to survive, but in order to thrive - we need to eat REAL food which is straight from the farm and not out of a packet. Whole grains, meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds. We have lost touch with the traditional methods of cooking because of our busy lives, which is putting our body out of balance. By finding the root cause, I will teach you to use food as medicine to feel your very best by making small changes to your diet.
